Engagements
Three ways to work with Kindrix
Each engagement is structured around a specific need and a clear scope. You choose the format that fits your situation — or begin with a conversation if you are not certain.
Return to HomeOur Methodology
How the work is done
Every Kindrix engagement begins with a preparation note or a brief initial conversation — not to assess the leader, but to understand what they are carrying and what kind of support is most useful.
The work itself follows the leader's rhythm. We do not arrive with an agenda that must be served. We arrive having prepared, having read what there is to read, and with genuine attention available for whatever the leader brings to the session.
Written outputs are returned with care. A reflection is not produced on the day of a session — it is allowed to settle before being written. An annotation is written slowly, with the document in hand, not by memory.
The written record in the Archive Companion engagement is maintained as a living document across the months. By the ninth month, it represents a substantial archive of the leader's thinking on a consequential matter.
Engagement 01
Reading Room Hour
SGD 200
A single-session engagement structured as ninety minutes of careful conversation, followed by a short written reflection delivered within seven days. The session is preceded by a brief preparation note sent to the leader in advance.
The intent is to give an unhurried hour to a single matter the leader has been carrying. The written reflection captures the conversation's themes and offers two or three considerations for the leader's continued thinking. This format is suited for senior partners and managing directors with a question that has not yet found the right shape.
What is included
- Pre-session preparation note
- Ninety-minute session at a quiet location in Singapore
- Written reflection returned within seven days
- Two to three considerations for continued thinking
Process
You reach out with a brief description of the matter you would like to examine.
A preparation note is sent to you three days before the session.
The ninety-minute session is held at our offices or a location of your choosing.
A written reflection is sent within seven days.
Engagement 02
Annotated Review
SGD 690
A four-week annotated review of a specific document or proposal — a strategy paper, a board memorandum, a substantial proposal to investors, or an internal communication of consequence. The work involves a close reading of the document and a series of short conversations with the authors.
The annotation is offered as a thinking partner's response, not as an editorial revision. The document remains the authors' to revise as they see fit. Two discussion sessions are included. The engagement spans four weeks from first receipt of the document.
What is included
- Full close reading of the submitted document
- Line-by-line written annotation returned
- Two discussion sessions across the four weeks
- Summary note of overall observations
Process
The document is submitted with a brief note on its purpose and intended audience.
A first reading session is held within the first week.
The annotated document is returned by the end of week three.
A final discussion session is held in week four to address remaining questions.
Engagement 03
Archive Companion
SGD 1,275 / month · nine months
A nine-month archive companion engagement for chief executives who would value a steady, considered counterpart through a year of substantial reading and writing — a strategic review, a capital event, or a leadership transition.
The arrangement includes monthly working sessions, a written record kept across the months, and quiet availability between sessions for matters that benefit from a thinking partner. The relationship is patient and reflective in posture. It accommodates the rhythm of the leader's own work rather than imposing one of its own.
What is included
- Monthly working sessions (nine in total)
- Written record maintained across all months
- Quiet availability between sessions
- Document support for key written outputs
- Final record transferred to the leader at conclusion
Process
An initial conversation to establish whether the engagement is suited to the situation.
A brief written outline of the nine-month period and the leader's primary concerns.
Monthly sessions, with the record updated after each one.
A final session to review the record and conclude the engagement properly.
Choosing an Engagement
Which format suits your situation
If you are uncertain, begin with the Reading Room Hour. It often clarifies whether a longer engagement is warranted.
